Born and raised in Switzerland in a family that celebrated art across generations, Yasmine Perreten discovered the “painting by feelings” method during a difficult time in her life—a deeply intuitive approach that became her way of expression, healing, and self-discovery, and which she later began teaching to others.
After relocating to Egypt, she continued painting and teaching, with art remaining her anchor through challenges and a constant source of renewed creativity. Today, she lives with her husband on a farm in Egypt, surrounded by Arabian horses and palm trees, where nature serves as her endless source of inspiration.
In her work, Yasmine Perreten blends abstraction with realism, soft pastel hues with vibrant tones, while animals—symbols of grace, strength, and a profound connection to nature—are a recurring theme. Each painting is a reflection of her journey and an invitation for others to explore their own paths.
