Wagih Mohamed Ali Wahba, born in Cairo in 1950, is an artist, writer, and respected art critic. He studied Italian arts in the late 1970s and is a member of the Egyptian Society of Fine Art Critics. Since 1980, he has worked at the Children’s Culture Center as an expert in children’s arts and a supervisor within the Ministry of Culture. Wahba has held several key cultural roles, including Chair of the Youth Salon Jury (2003) and former Chairman of the Cairo Atelier for Artists and Writers.

He has published widely on culture and creativity in major Egyptian newspapers and magazines since the 1980s. His artworks are included in private collections worldwide and in prominent public institutions such as the Museum of Modern Egyptian Art, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the Greater Cairo Library, and the Egyptian Opera House.
